The Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC) is an organization in the United States that provides accreditation to non-university postsecondary colleges. Based in Arlington, Virginia, it is recognized by the United States Department of Education as a private, non-profit, independent accrediting agency.[1] As of 2010, it extends accreditation to about 800 schools that together enroll more than 200,000 students each year.
